Updating Raleigh’s Historic Preservation Rules

A draft ordinance with proposed changes to the historic preservation sections of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) will be shared at two upcoming public meetings: Wednesday, August 13 at 7 p.m. - Five Points Center for Active Adults Register *this link has been updated Thursday, August 14 at 10 a.m. - Virtual Session Register The updates enhance consistency with state law and fix unclear or imprecise language. While the meetings are a chance to ask questions and learn more, all formal feedback must be submitted through the Text Change Engagement Portal beginning August 13.
