Hospitality Industry Preparedness Education Session

The City of Raleigh's Hospitality and Nightlife team from the Office of Special Events and the Safe, Vibrant and Healthy Community Strategic Plan team invite hospitality industry owners and employees to the next HIPE session. Join us Monday, June 10th, from 3:00pm until 4:30pm at The Grove at City Market for a collaborative training with representatives from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition, and Raleigh Police Department's ACORNS unit. Attendees will learn: De-escalation skills to calm potentially dangerous situations To recognize and respond to an overdose by administering Naloxone How the ACORNS unit can connect those experiencing crisis with available resources June 10th, 20243:00p.m. - 4:30p.m.The Grove at City Market, 208 Wolfe Street

Southwest Raleigh Community Engagement Meeting — Virtual

Join us Monday night, June 10th at 7 PM for our regularly scheduled Southwest Raleigh Community Engagement Meeting we will be meeting on Zoom. Captain LaTour (SE-Southeast), Captain Van Antwerp (DT-Downtown). Our SW area is now part of three Raleigh Police Districts. Our June meeting Continues the Quarterly Open Forum Format - Please feel free to use this time to bring your comments, concerns, and subjects of interest to the group. We want to hear from you and learn more about what you believe should be taking place in our neighborhood. Changes in Community Group Meetings - Comments and updates from our community leaders and residents. Our next meeting is scheduled for July 8th, 2024.
