What’s new with the Five Points Streetscape project?
- City staff and the consultant team held an interdepartmental and interagency coordination meeting in late August.
- There is a more detailed analysis of crashes, vehicle travel conditions, curbside parking, as well as pedestrian and cycling conditions.
- The team conducted short interviews with small groups of stakeholders with shared interests (e.g., businesses, faith-based institutions, schools, neighborhood stakeholders, commercial property owners) on August 31 and will be attending the Five Points CAC meeting on September 12 at 7 p.m.. The input will help inform future intersection concept alternatives.

A public open house will be held on October 6, from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.. Drop in for an overview of the project to date, to view and comment on a range of intersection concepts, and to share your priorities.
