During the committee report out at the October 8th RHDC meeting\, it was requested that a letter to the alumni association be drafted to explain next steps and recommendations. The Research Committee held a special meeting on November 19th and drafted the attached letter. \n. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nC.2 2025 Inquiry Letters for RHL \nThe Committee will review the Places Worthy of Preservation list and recently completed reports to send letters of interest. Coming from a long line of cultural leaders that guided him on his walk as a traditionalist\, Kaya Littleturtle is currently employed at the North Carolina Museum of History as the Community Programs Coordinator. He is the lead singer of the championship drum group WarPaint\, who travels all over Indian country. Littleturtle is an active member of his community’s traditional longhouse and belongs to the Snipe Clan\, one of the seven traditional longhouse clans. He is an enrolled member of the Tuscarora Indians of Kahtehnuaka Territories.
