Norwood Mill to the RHDC.  The mill is located on Marsh Creek near the Raleigh Racquet Club. George Washington Norwood is a descendant of Isaac Hunter and built the grist mill in the 1870s. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nC.2\n\nBiltmore Hills National Register Celebration Planning\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOne of the items listed on the RHDC’s 2026 Work Plan is to plan and host a celebration for the Biltmore Hills neighborhood when it is placed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The Biltmore Hills National Register nomination is scheduled to be reviewed at the National Register Advisory Committee in October.
