DESCRIPTION:The City of Raleigh’s Hospitality and Nightlife team from the Office of Special Events and the Safe\, Vibrant and Healthy Community Strategic Plan team invite hospitality industry owners and employees to the next HIPE session. \nJoin us Monday\, June 10th\, from 3:00pm until 4:30pm at The Grove at City Market for a collaborative training with representatives from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance\, North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition\, and Raleigh Police Department’s ACORNS unit. \nAttendees will learn: \n\nDe-escalation skills to calm potentially dangerous situations\nTo recognize and respond to an overdose by administering Naloxone\nHow the ACORNS unit can connect those experiencing crisis with available resources\n\nJune 10th\, 20243:00p.m. – 4:30p.m.The Grove at City Market\, 208 Wolfe Street
