Tell us all what you believe we need to know. How about the numerous development cases that we are seeing? How about streets\, traffic\, and the horrible litter is thrown on the side of our streets?\nChanges in Community Group Meetings – Comments and updates our community leaders and residents.\nWe plan to broadcast the meeting on Facebook if you would prefer to watch it and not participate.\n\nOur next meeting is scheduled for October 9th. Current plans are to ask for information on how streets can be made safer. DESCRIPTION:The Wake County Board of Elections is opening its office outside of regular hours to help voters comply with new photo identification requirements. \nThe board is holding an event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday\, Sept. 9 at 1200 North New Hope Road in Raleigh to allow voters to check their voter status\, take their photo and print a new voter ID card. \nAny registered Wake County voter can take advantage of this ID service during the Sept. 9 event or during normal business hours at the Wake County Board of Elections office in Raleigh. No appointment is necessary and the process should only take a few minutes. Voters will need to provide their name\, date of birth\, and last four digits of their social security number on a request form. \nThe Sept. 9 event is only available to eligible voters who reside in Wake County. Any voter interested in obtaining a free photo ID for voting purposes must visit their county board of elections office or the Department of Motor Vehicles. Wake County residents can still register to vote or update their information at the event prior to getting a photo ID.
