These issues arise due to a variety of reasons including recent text changes\, application of the code to unique situations\, and unclear/imprecise language. To ensure continuous improvement of the city’s land development regulations\, staff utilizes the omnibus text change program to bundle these corrections and improvements into a single ordinance. Items included in the omnibus are modest in their impact and address minor\, rather than major\, policy areas.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nB.2\n\nTC-6-26: Custom Signage Plan Amendments\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is an external text change that proposes amendments to UDO Section 10.2.21.G\, which establishes additional limitations for Custom Signage Plans. The proposal would increase the maximum number of lines of copy allowed on certain ground and tract identification signs from 5 to 10 lines and increase the maximum sign area from 100 square feet to 300 square feet.\nThe proposed changes are intended to provide additional flexibility for identification and directional signage within developments that qualify for a Custom Signage Plan.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nC.\n\nApproval of Minutes\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRequest approval of September 16\, 2026 Draft Text Change Committee Meeting Minutes \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nD.\n\nAdjournment\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Text Change Committee is a subcommittee where changes to the zoning code\, known as the Unified Development Ordinance\, are discussed.
