DESCRIPTION:NOTE: The City of Raleigh has launched a new agenda management portal called “eScribe” that will improve access and transparency for Planning Commission Text Change Committee meeting agendas and minutes. \nWe’re excited to share that the September 17 Planning Commission Text Change Committee agenda is now live and can be accessed through the new City Council\, Boards and Commissions: Agendas and Minutes webpage. \n\nPublic Meeting – September 17\, 2025\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe City of Raleigh Planning Commission Text Change Committee will conduct a public meeting on Wednesday\, September 17 at 4 p.m. at the Raleigh Municipal Building in the City Council Chamber. \nIf you are interested in participating\, please email Justin.Rametta@raleighnc.gov. Please include your name\, address\, and the case you would like to comment on. \nFor more information about the meeting\, please visit the Planning Commission webpage. \n\n\n\n\nCall to Order\nOld Business\nNew Business\n\n\n\n    \n\n\n\nC.1 TC-3-24 Historic Preservation and RHDC \nAmendments to State Law and a staff review of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) identified issues in the code that warrant further review and correction. To ensure continuous improvement of the city’s land development regulations and align with State Law\, the language of the historic preservation related sections of the UDO are proposed to be updated. \n—\nRecommended Action: The Text Change Committee may make a recommendation to the full Planning Commission.
