DESCRIPTION:1. Directions to Meeting Location \n\n\n\n\nEnter the Raleigh Convention Center from the main entrance on Salisbury Street (500 S Salisbury St\, Raleigh\, NC 27601). Room 304 is to the left; go past (not up) the stairs\nFree parking is available on level P2 of the Performing Arts Deck (128 W. South St\, directly across Lenoir Street from the Convention Center). Enter the deck from either Lenoir Street or South Street closest to the Residence Inn (see attached image with entrances indicated by pink arrows). Parking fees will be waived for individuals attending the Special Committee of the Whole meeting.\nThe meeting location can also be accessed by transit via GoRaleigh Route 11. The nearest stops are at W. Lenoir Street at S. Salisbury Street (outbound) and on E. South Street. in front of the Performing Arts Center (inbound).\n\n\n2. CP-7-22 New Bern Station Area Planning Study and Comprehensive Plan Amendments \n\n\n3. Rezoning Z-29-22 New Bern Station Area Planning\, 744 properties along New Bern Avenue between Downtown and Hedingham Boulevard / Freedom Drive (Districts B & C)\n\nThe Committee of the Whole is an informal special meeting of the full Planning Commission to have further discussions on specific referral items. The Planning Commission bylaws state that rezoning requests that are deemed inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan and future land use map are automatically referred to the Committee of the Whole. Additionally\, requests for Planned Development or Campus District are also automatically referred to this Committee. \nThe committee typically meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. The meetings are held at the Raleigh Municipal Building (RMB)\, located at 222 West Hargett Street in the Council Chamber.
