DESCRIPTION:Following the previous email sent last week regarding the Neuse River Park Master Plan\, please note the following important corrections to the timeline and meeting format: \n\nThe August 27 Community Advisory Group (CAG) meeting will now be held virtually. The agenda and virtual meeting details are available on the engagement portal.\nThe target date for the Parks\, Recreation\, and Greenway Advisory Board meetinghas been updated to November 21\, 2024 (previously October 17).\n\nThank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to ensure the success of this project. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNeuse River Park Master Plan Update\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe wanted to provide you with a few important timeline updates regarding the Neuse River Park Master Plan. \nRaleigh Parks is targeting the October 17th meeting of the Parks\, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board Meeting for Master Plan approval. We will be holding an additional Community Advisory Group meeting to determine which park elements will be prioritized for the first phase of development and which may need to be included in future phases. \nUpcoming Meetings: \n\nAugust 27\, 2024\, at 5:30 PM: Discussion on final priorities with the Community Advisory Group at Annie Louise Wilkerson\, MD Nature Preserve Education Center.\nSeptember 23\, 2024\, at 5:30 PM: Additional Community Advisory Group Meeting at Forest Ridge Park to vote on the final Master Plan document.\n\nYour feedback is essential to ensuring that the Neuse River Park meets the needs of our community.
