That talk by Wanda Cox-Bailey will take place next Thursday\, Feb. 27\, barring any other unforeseen issues!!! We can’t wait for you to join us! \nWanda Cox-Bailey\, a retired librarian and president of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society Triangle Chapter\, is dedicated to preserving the memories and oral histories of the Southeast community. With over 30 years in Black children’s literature\, she emphasizes the need for Black children to see themselves in the books they read.
