Visit the Pigeon House Branch Watershed Study website to learn about the study and see the survey results. \n\n \nWhat’s a Watershed?\nA watershed is an area of land where rainwater collects and flows or drains to a larger body of water. That can be a lake\, stream\, river\, or ocean. The Pigeon House Branch Watershed is located in and near downtown Raleigh where water flows to Crabtree Creek and then to the Neuse River. \nThe goal is to identify ways to improve the watershed by: \n\nReducing flooding impacts\nRenewing stormwater pipes and infrastructure that is in poor condition\nImproving water quality\nRepairing streambanks
