RHDC’s unique code is 1887. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nD.\n\nOld Business\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nD.1\n\nHistoric Design Standards Update\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStaff Contact: Tania Tully\, Preservation Planning Supervisor \n  \nHistoric Design Standards are required by state law for the City to enforce the Historic Overlay District (HOD) and Raleigh Historic Landmark regulations and process Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) applications.  Community engagement for the Historic Design Standards Update project was held August to October 2026. Feedback was obtained through 12 stakeholder listening sessions\, two community open houses\, and an online survey that received 166 responses.
