The work is led by the City’s Historic Preservation Unit staff with assistancefrom the RHDC’s Community Awareness Committee. Any recently published webpages will be highlighted for informational purposes.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nC.2\n\nRHDC Landmark Cards\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDuring the pandemic\, the Commission designed and printed collectible trading cards for a small number of Raleigh Historic Landmark properties. The nineteen-story building consists of a circular five-story base with lobby and parking garage\, circular thirteen-story guestroom tower\, and cantilevered top floor restaurant that provides panoramic views of the city. The State Capitol Holiday Inn remains an important physical representation of a Modernist hotel in the downtown Raleigh.\n\n.\n\nA joint public hearing with City Council was held the evening of November 4\, 2025.
