DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the City of Raleigh (COR) Museum will once again host its popular Raleigh Roasts fundraiser event on Saturday\, March 15\, in the city’s historic Moore Square Park.\nRaleigh Roasts brings area residents and visitors together to taste coffee\, tea\, and treats from local vendors. There will be live music provided by local artist Larry Karan. Museum members can attend the event for free! \nThe event\, which historically was held at the museum at 220 Fayetteville St.\, was moved to Moore Square during the pandemic. Thanks to popular demand to continue to hold the event outside\, it is scheduled this year from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. \nThe Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. so participants are encouraged to stop by Raleigh Roasts before or after the parade! \nIn 2024\, the event saw 600-plus attendees. This year organizers expect those numbers to increase. To secure a tasting\, tickets must be purchased in advance.
