You can also register on the website for our upcoming town hall.  Details listed below: \nDate: Thursday\, September 17\nLocation: Chavis Park Reception Hall\nTime: Doors open at 5:00 p.m. | The program runs 5:30–7:00 p.m.\nFree and open to the public \nPlease note\, the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR)’s Raleigh Rising consumer advocacy campaign\, is built to bring everyday residents into the housing conversation. This first event offers an honest look at housing affordability in Wake County. \n\n\n\n\n\nMy name is Monica Mimms\, and I am the Director of Member & Community Relations at the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR). I lead our community outreach and assist our Government Affairs Director\, Danielle Ploud\, in advocacy partnerships across Wake and Harnett Counties. \nWe are excited to introduce RRAR’s new consumer advocacy campaign\, Raleigh Rising. This campaign aims to bring everyday residents into the housing conversation (see attached flyer). \nOur first town hall\, “Who Can’t Afford Raleigh?”\, will take place on Thursday\, September 17\, at the Chavis Park Reception Hall. This nonpartisan evening event will run for 90 minutes\, featuring a short film\, new Wake County polling data\, and a presentation by the Wake County Housing Authority. It will also include an audience Q&A and highlight opportunities to get involved. Our focus is strictly on residents\, data\, and community work.
