SUMMARY:Hybrid Midtown CAC meeting\, September 25\, 2023\, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
DESCRIPTION:In addition to our monthly police activity report and Councilor updates\, we have two City project news for the Midtown area scheduled for this month’s meeting.\n\nThe first is the latest information about the Big Branch Sewer Interceptor pipe replacement project. This has been presented previously but is about to be scheduled and initiated in the Fall of 2023. A sewer interceptor is a piece of a sewer network used to control the flow of rainwater\, stormwater\, and wastewater. The project extends from north of Millbrook Road to inside I-440 at Crabtree Creek. For more information\, please see the following project page from the City web site:\n\nhttps://raleighnc.gov/projects/big-branch-sewer-interceptor-replacement\n\nThe second update will include Project Updates on Greenways & Parks in the Midtown Area\, including but not limited to the Hodges Street Greenway Bridge\, Big Branch Greenway and other upcoming projects in the Midtown CAC area. An early preview will be provided at an upcoming City event on September 20\, Pizza in the Park.
