SUMMARY:Southern Corridor Station Area Plan Open House
DESCRIPTION:Share Your Thoughts Our Open House\n\nWhat would you like to see in your neighborhood close to BRT stations?\nHow can the community benefit from BRT and investment in station areas?\n\nStation area planning is the process of planning for future bus rapid transit (BRT) stations. It involves planning for where people will walk and bike to transit and how the areas around BRT can grow to support healthy\, affordable\, and equitable neighborhoods. \nThis process is separate from the design of the Southern BRT stations and bus lanes. It is a community planning process that will consider areas within a short walk of the BRT stations along S. Wilmington Street. \nAre you interested in supporting housing affordability\, better places to walk and bike\, and reducing carbon emissions and air pollution around future transit routes? Come plan with us!

SUMMARY:Western Corridor Station Area Plan Open House
DESCRIPTION:Share Your Thoughts Our Open House\n\nWhat would you like to see in your neighborhood close to BRT stations?\nHow can the community benefit from BRT and investment in station areas?\n\nTransit is a means of connecting people with opportunity. It also is a tool for improving sustainability and equity. In a growing city like Raleigh\, transit helps people get around in a way that is affordable\, supports walkability\, and reduces carbon emissions. \nMaking the most of a transit investment means thinking about how to grow around transit. Station area planning is the process of planning for future bus rapid transit (BRT) stations. It involves planning for where people will walk and bike to transit and how the areas around Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stations can grow to support healthy\, affordable\, and equitable neighborhoods. \nThis process is separate from the design of the Western BRT stations and bus lanes. SUMMARY:Western Corridor Station Area Plan Pop-Up
DESCRIPTION:Transit is a means of connecting people with opportunity. It is a community planning process for areas within a short walk of the BRT stations along Western Boulevard but not for the BRT route itself.
