DESCRIPTION:Meeting Wednesday January 22nd at 7pm\nIt’s time to meet and talk about what’s going on in West Raleigh! \nWIth the proposed Lorimer Spring Affordable Housing Development there is increased interest in how transit oriented zoning applies along the Western Blvd corridor. We have Frequent Transit Areas\, Frequent Transit Overlay Districts and Bus Rapid Transit Areas. So\, how do they all work together in the planning process? \nSenior Planner Sarah Shaughnessy will answer questions and provide some insight. \nWe are planning to have the Lorimer Spring developer at our February meeting and hope this session will give you relevant data that can inform that discussion. \nWe will provide updates from the District D Neighborhood Alliance meeting held on January 18th and make space for concerns and updates from our members.
