DESCRIPTION:*New Date- we rescheduled from 8/6 due to rain: \nCome join your neighbors at the Halifax Community Center for this year’s National Night Out on Wednesday\, August 21 from 6:30 – 8:00 pm!  \nThis year’s event is co-sponsored by the Mordecai CAC and the Halifax Community Center.\n \n\nVisit with community leaders\, police officers\, and fire fighters\nCool off with ice cream from Howling Cow\nPlay on the Halifax Community Center playground\nCreate sidewalk chalk art\nGet active with jump ropes and hula hoops\nSpend time visiting with your neighbors\nLearn to play Pétanque! \nClimb inside in a fire truck!\n\n\nWhat to bring\nYourself\, your family\, and your neighbors. \nNational Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer\, better places to live and work.
