The work is led by the City’s Historic Preservation Unit staff with assistance from the RHDC Community Awareness Committee. Any recently published webpages will be highlighted for informational purposes. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nC.2\n\nCelebrate Oberlin Volunteer Coordination\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nConfirm commissioner volunteer attendance and coordinate tabling materials for the Celebrate Oberlin annual event on Saturday\, October 10th. The event will take place from 4-7pm at the Avance Care at 815 Oberlin Rd. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nD.\n\nNew Business\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nD.1\n\nRHDC Social Media\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Committee will review public engagement from the previous month to determine if additional action or attention is needed. Commissioners will select planned social media topics for the upcoming month and prepare posts. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nD.2\n\nOTB Self-Guided Driving Tour\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo support public education and engagement efforts around the city’s new Historic Preservation Plan\, staff will present potential sites to include in a new raleighhistoric.org digital tour. Committee members will provide feedback on final site selection. \nThe tour will focus on properties located “outside the beltline” that demonstrate the use of various preservation tools.
