Raleigh zoning would take effect only upon annexation into the city.\n.\nThe Planning Commission reviewed this case at the August 11\, 2026\, meeting. They deferred it to the September 8\, 2026\, meeting to allow the applicant additional time for community outreach. It has grown into one of downtown Raleigh’s primary nightlife areas\, with a concentration of bars\, restaurants\, and nearby residential development.
