The property owner also requests (7) a design alternate to the Main Street Parallel Parking standards in UDO Section 8.5.5.D for Navaho Drive to permit tree lawn instead of tree grates\, and (8) a design alternate to the Main Street Parallel Parking standards in UDO 8.5.5.D for Oakline Drive to permit tree lawn instead of tree grates. All requests are in conjunction with the development of a subdivision (SUB-0068-2026) located at 901 Navaho Drive zoned CX-20-UL-CU.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nD.3\n\nDA-05-2026 – 15 Summit Avenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHEREAS City of Raleigh\, property owner\, requests the following design alternates: (1) for relief from the Avenue 2-Lane Divided right-of-way dedication required per UDO Section 8.5.5.B; and (2) to construct a driveway onto Summit Avenue located 90 feet away from the intersection of Summit Avenue and Water Works Street in lieu of the minimum 150 foot required per Raleigh Street Design Manual (RSDM) Section 9.5.
